Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my page! I am a small hobby breeder that breeds good quality 100% English Budgerigars as pets and breeders. In this site you will see the Budgies bred and the animals I have available from time to time. You will also be provided with information on caring for your little friend and tips to help you keep your companion happy and healthy.
I devote lots of time and attention to each of my birds. I have learned to care for these birds not only by studying their care, habits, dietary needs, etc., but also by first-hand experience. If you are considering acquiring an English Budgie from myself, I ask that you please thoroughly research in regards to their care and the attention they need, especially if it is to be a prospective companion.
Your questions/comments are welcomed!
We are located in sunny Southern California, in Orange County. Our little companions thrive in this weather! When acquiring a new-feathered friend from us we ask that you come by and pick them up, so that we get to meet you. Sorry, but currently we do not ship our feathered friends.
So you want a Budgie...
Budgies can make wonderful little pets, if you are prepared for the responsibility, as with any pet!
First, are you looking for a pet or breeding bird? All breeding quality birds can make great pets, but not all pet quality birds make great breeders. If you plan on taking your budgie out daily for at least an hour, and want a bird to stand on your shoulder and learn to speak a few words, a pet budgie is for you! If you plan on not handling your budgie (only for wing & nail clipping) you can still acquire a pet quality budgie, but 2 – or more birds is suggested so they don’t get lonely. Keep in mind, males and females housed together can breed and begin laying eggs even if a nest box is not provided. If you know you will definitely want to breed your birds, you need to find young, good quality stock. Whether looking for a pet bird or breeder, look for a healthy bird free of disease and defects.
